  1. Hi Daniel

Thanky ou for posting the photo, it is very nice. I have a question for you.

In Australia students are supported by the government so that no matter their social origins they have access to education. Is this similar in Sweden or does it work differently?

  2. yes it is free for everyone, and higher education like university studies are also free, if you live in sweden. And the the student gets about 1200 american dollars, some of it is a loan an som is a contribution or what it is called.

do your country also have problems with unemployment ?

  5. The weather in most places has gotten a little more extreme. There is an interesting report you can read called the Sterne Report which is quite frightening if your topic is climate change. I have only recently finished studying it.

Australias economy is going very well due to the resource sector, mining is paying big money for easy jobs like truck driving. We are recruting people from mostly english speaking countries like Ireland and the USA but there are alot of Asian workers coming over as well as they will work for a lot less money.

I have been reading about the economic problems in Europe, it is very sad and I feel sorry for the children. I hope things get better over there soon.

  6. An interesting discussion you have here about the labor market. Yes, I understand that many, specially young people from english speaking countries like Britain and Ireland now find a living in Australia. And so it has been before.
The jobs you mention like working in mining industry, isn´t that out in teh middle of hot mainland. What other kinds of jobs are there for immigrants?
