Some of my students at work

Here are some of my students completing an assessment. They are building a switchboard for a freezer room.

  1. Do you find that your students can pass assessments easily? What parts in their program is most difficult for them to learn and to pass in a test or exam?
How about their prior knowledge in, say maths, is that sufficient?

  2. Usually their ability to pass the exam is driven by the experience they get in their job and their level of understanding of the importance in passing. I use a variety of techniques to deliver the learning depending on the student demographic.

I can imagine that your students are most men or? Are there any girls who take the course?

  4. Hi Bjorn - most of the students are men, however we are getting more and more females doing this kind of work. I currently have two ladies in my class. One is 25 years old and one is 36 years old.
