My name is Björn Persson, I have been working as a electric teacher for almost 4 years.
I work with installation, alarm, automation, antenna, sound & lighting, etc.
It is an small school with about 400 students.

Here we see two students who install a satellite dish.

We go out with the students and makes "real" job.

New feeder cable to the new fuse box.

One example is that we replace the old electrical installation to new.

  4. What kind of real jobs do you do? How does the customer pay? What do the companies say about you competing if you do jobs more cheap?

  5. I am curious about the labor market for your students when ready. Since this is close to Norway that in many areas do need workforce and pay more, do many take work in Norway?

  6. Hello Ingemar! The cable that we added a new 3 phase supply for a new center for the entire building. There, we also change all cable to the new cabel.
Most of the jobs that we do is some form house installation. We only charge for materials. We've talked to companies and this is a way to get practice before companies can receive the student, the best is naturlgtvis that companies can take the student directly, but when this is not possible, we have posted it in this way.It is now fairly good market here in Strömstad but of course it is better paid in Norway, so it's a lot of people working there, but the apprenticeship must be made in Sweden.
Than it is easier to find a job in Norway.

  7. Hello Björn! Your student must appreciate doing the real job. I think that doing something real and important must be much more fun for the students than just work in a similated environment.

    1. That's right students find it very inspiring to be out in the real world, then it's obviously best to get out of a company as soon as possible. Best regards / Björn

    1. Students work at 24 V dc 230 V ac 400 V ac three phase Y-connected system. Before sudenterna graduates so makes them a theoretical test that is very much about security, they can handle it, it's 1600 hours left as an apprentice in a company then you can apply for a limited access of electricity säkehets work. Best regards / Björn

    1. Hello Daniel! Just this cable can put directly into the soil but it must be at a depth of approximately 55 cm in other cases it may be necessary to add a protective tube especially if you put the cable closer to the ground. / Björn
