One of our practices walls
Here can the students connect all components and program a PLC. PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) is a kind of computer who can controll different kind of automation of electromechanical processes.
It can never be the same opportunities in school and on a workplace. It happens a lot in electric sector and schools have not afford to buy the new technology so often are the control cabinets and engines some years old. All things can also be well used and maybe be a bit broken. The main advantage is that in school it´s allowed that all things take time. In school it´s better that students learn thoroughly. When the students is on practice should it go as quickly as possible when it is a customer who should pay for the work.
We use Mitsubishi Melsec. That one on the picture is a old model that we can use on some small project. But we have about 15 rather new one too with variable inputs.
Are there things that you can not train in this artificial learning situation?
ReplyDeleteWhat are the benefits for doing this training in a school setting?
